Pembroke is on the Leeward Highway in a scenic valley. To the right (in this picture) is a road to the beach at Buccament and a cave with petroglyphs. Tothe left, inland, is the Emerald Valley resort and the Vermont Nature Trail.
There are vegetable farms on the flat lands toward the Caribbean. There are plans to build a large resort complex.
